This site takes the breed first view instead. Every dog and cat breed gets a page built on its documented conditions the breed is prone to, the sourced cost of treating them, and the national average premium printed as exactly what it is: a national average, from the North American Pet Health Insurance Association.

What this site is not

CostByBreed is not an insurer, a broker, or an agent. It does not sell policies and it cannot bind cover. Quotes happen on the insurers' own sites.

How it is funded

Affiliate commissions, disclosed on the affiliate disclosure page. Commissions never change a figure on this site, and several insurers listed here pay this site nothing at all.
